All Ex-servicemen associations and groups can get FREE WEBSITE if you register in our site. It is seen that there are many association in different parts of the country. All the associations are scattered and the strength could not be shown to get our problems solved.
As many associations started well in advance and performing well, that cannot be stopped. Hence we plan to start a CONSORTIUM OF EX-SERVICEMEN under one roof of www.ex-servicemenonline.com. All associations can register keeping the identity perfect and still getting the benefits of the unity.

Plan Your Retirement

Are you planning to come out of service in near future? Please plan your civilian life smartly and then give the application for discharge or retirement. If you are the one who already retired, then also you can plan your future by reading the following.
When you are coming out of service you have to increase your academic qualifications more specific to your interests. But if you are planning to learn more and detailed courses in the field of your experience, it will be more useful. First of all you must understand that there are lot of thorns on your way to success. Please do not expect only FLOWERS spread all over the path, where you plan to walk. Read the following to have an understanding to some extend.
PLANING
Before taking the decision to sign the discharge application, make up your mind and try to gather maximum details of the opportunities in your field. Brainstorm the details received that are collected from reliable sourses. Please colloect the details from reliable government sourses. You can also contact various close friends circle. Read throughly and take dicisions Judiciously.
EDUCATION
Do your education completed to some extend but dont leave any course incomplete. Try to complete the course before your applying for the discharge.
CERTIFICATES
Please collect all certificates that are to be collected from authrities, where you have completed the course. Once you go back to the Home town, you may not get time to come back for collecting the certifgicates.
EMPLOYMENT NEWS
Read the news papers and magazines that publish various vaccancies, so that you will get reasonably good idea about the jobs available in the market and the qualification and experience required for that type of jobs. This will arm you with proper qualification when you come out of service.
SEE WEB SITES
Frequently check web sites that ate publishing job opportunities. Note the web sites that are publishing and helping you to get a decent job, immediately after coming out. Maintain a diary or store it in your personal computer.
APPLICATION
Start applying one year in advance of your proposed discharge date. Mention your discharge/ retirement date in the RESUME, so that the compny interested in you will earmark your resume and will call you at the time of your discharge.
FINANCIAL PLANNING
Work out all the payments, allowance, provident fund amout, gratuvity etc and plan what you will have to do with this money. Contact any of your good friend in financial sector and take advice well in advance of your discharge. If you are not planning, this the first opportunity coming to you when money is coming will be ustilized by you and it may not a good idea to do the financial planning ina haste. Once you plan to do some investment, follow that news atleast one year before your retirement. See the UPs and Downs all the years and you will be a guru by the time of your coming out.
TOO MANY CONSULTANTS
If you have more cousultants to guide you for the financial planning, you will be confused and in double mind. Follow the person who is successful in the field.
ORGANISATIONS
Please find out an organisation nearer to your place. Attend meeting when ever you get time. You can take with you, like minded people so that you can discuss and do wonders. Many brains are better than one brain.
CONTROL OVER EXPENDITURE
Start controlling your expenses before one year of your discharge, so that you will be fit to the external world, which is full of thorns.
COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE
Computer knowledge is verymuch needed before you come out. You will be treated worst than an illiterate, if you are not a computer litterate. Learn the following to reasonably good expertise.
1) Office Automation tools like Word, excell, powerpoint presentation, Little bit of web designing and hands to programming languages like C, C++, VB etc.
PERSONAL COMPUTER
If you have not purchased a personal computer yet, please do that immediately and have practicve on that. You gain experience in computer and this will help you to attend the interviews properly.
